Brief Overview
I have been directly involved in the building industry since 1978. I made the progression from a labourer at age 17, to become an apprentice carpenter, a tradesman, a leading hand and foreman from 1984-86 before embarking on self-employment as a building contractor in 1987.
For a period of about 10 years in the 1990’s I managed a lot of new residential construction work for a reputable builder. This provided an invaluable experience in new home construction and grounded me in how positive outcomes can be achieved for my clients.
During this time I regularly contracted directly to the public to build other various projects like extensions and renovations that required my full attention as a contract builder from 2001.
Well here we are today in 2010, open and ready for business after a noticeable decline in our industry and conservative recovery. The industry will recover as building is a fundamental need and service.
I hope my website gives you some assistance and insight into my industry "residential or domestic construction". From ....... what to expect? and...... how to begin? May give you some confidence to extend, improve or enhance your home, and therefore your enjoyment of living and your lifestyle.
